We are seeking friendly, charming, efficient and smiley English and bilingual speaking staff (preferred, but not essential) to work within our Guest Services Team in Niseko. You must have exceptional customer service skills with passion for dealing with people.

 

POSITION

Guest Services Representative

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Being a presence at the reception
  • Meeting/greeting guests
  • Organizing guest check ins/check outs
  • Answering telephones, email and in house guest inquiries
  • Booking tours/taxi's and activities
  • Providing guests with key local information & assistance
  • Being a reliable local contact for guest during their stay
  • Helping out with additional tasks when required

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING

One of below experience helps our team

  • Personal customer service experience (Face to Face)
  • Travel/tourism experience
  • Cash/Credit card processing experience
  • Office/Administration experience
  • Reservations experience
  • Previous Front Desk/Guest Services/Concierge experience
  • Previous driving experience
  • Ski or snowboard experience

 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

  • Energetic, confident, can- do attitude
  • Friendly personality, can be a team member with manager
  • Flexible with irregular work hours

 

LANGUAGE

  • Needs to be English speaker, Business level or higher

 

ADVANTAGES FOR THIS POSITION

Not all team members are necessary for below, but great to have few of them

  •  Japanese conversational speaker
  • International Driving Permit or Japanese driver's license holder

VISA

  • Working Holiday Visa required for this position.

 

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

Hourly rates will be discussed at interview

  • Staff accommodation available

EMPLOYMENT DATES

  • 25th November 2024 – 31st March 2025 (Full Season)
  • 25th November 2024 – 28th February 2025 (Short-Term)

As with any seasonal work, hours and dates of work are snow and customer dependent. Please understand that you are required to be flexible with work dates and hours.

Start date and end date can be discussed at interview. We can be flexible.

 

WORKING HOURS:

Full time, 5 x days per week

You will be contracted to work an average of 40 hours per week throughout the winter, though this will be higher in peak season (late-Dec to mid-Feb) and lower during quiet times.
