We are seeking friendly, charming, efficient and smiley English and bilingual speaking staff (preferred, but not essential) to work within our Guest Services Team in Niseko. You must have exceptional customer service skills with passion for dealing with people.
POSITION
Hakuba Guest Services Agent
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- In general being a presence at the reception
- Meeting/greeting guests
- Organizing guest check ins/check outs
- Answering telephones, email and in house guest inquiries
- Safe driving of guests to and from accommodation on arrival/departure.
- Booking taxis and restaurant.
- Providing guests with key local information & assistance
- Delivering products/services to nearby accommodations
- Being a reliable local contact for guests during their stay
- Helping out with additional tasks when required
- Daily housekeeping including room cleaning, bed making and public area cleaning.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING
- Personal customer service experience (Face to Face)
- Travel/tourism experience
- Cash/Credit Card Processing/ Handling
- Office/Administration experience
- Reservations experience
- Previous Front Desk/Guest Services/Concierge experience
- Driving experience
- Housekeeping experience

REQUIREMENTS:
- Needs to be English speaker, Business level or higher
DRIVING LICENSE
Must have one of below license
- Driving license issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan.
- International Driving Permit (IDP)
VISA REQUIREMENTS:
- Working Holiday Visa required for this position.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
Hourly rates will be discussed at interview
- Staff accommodation available
- Ski Lift pass (Refundable upon completion of contract with a clean disciplinary record and is based on the amount set by Skijapan)
EMPLOYMENT DATES
- Early December 2024 – Late March 2025 (Full Season)
- Early December 2024 – Late February 2025 (Short-Term)
As with any seasonal work, hours and dates of work are snow and customer dependent. Please understand that you are required to be flexible with work dates and hours.
WORKING HOURS:
Full time, 5-6 days per week
You will be contracted to work an average of 36-40 hours per week throughout the winter, though this will be higher in peak season (late-Dec to mid-Feb) and lower during quiet times.
