Niseko - Guest Services - Night Operations

We are seeking friendly, charming, efficient and smiley English and bilingual speaking staff (preferred, but not essential) to work within our Guest Services Team in Niseko. You must have exceptional customer service skills with passion for dealing with people.
POSITION
Guest Services - Night Operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting/greeting guests outside of office hours
- Guest evening pick-ups by vehicle
- Guest check ins/ check outs outside office hours
- Answering telephones including 24 hour Emergency line, email and in-house guest assistance
- Performing security checks of our accommodations
- Pass on information to front desk staff in the morning for booking tours and activities
- Providing guests with key local information & assistance
- Being a reliable local contact for guests during their stay
- Organizing guests lift passes
- Some housekeeping required
- Helping out with additional tasks including some administration when required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING:
One of below experience helps our team
- Personal customer service experience (Face to Face)
- Travel/tourism experience
- Cash/Credit Card Processing/ Handling
- Office/Administration experience
- Reservations experience
- Previous Front Desk/Guest Services experience
- Previous driving experience
- Night audit experience
- Ski or Snowboard experience
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

- Mature, flexible approach with the ability to adapt to any situation
- Ability to work long hours and multi-task
- Show initiative, with ability to think on your feet and solve a problem
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Needs to be English speaker, Business level or higher
- Other language skill are not essential, but welcome
DRIVING LICENSE:
Must have one of below license
- Driving license issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan.
- International Driving Permit (IDP)
Please note that it needs to be under The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, not Paris or Vienna Convention. List of countries stated above link.
VISA:
- Working Holiday Visa required for this position.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
Hourly rates will be discussed at interview
- Staff accommodation available
- Grand Hirafu/Hanazono Lift pass using SJ corporate discount (refundable upon completion of contract and with a clean disciplinary record)
EMPLOYMENT DATES:
Late November 2024 - End of March 2025
WORKING HOURS:
4 x nights per week, 10:00pm until 08:00am
Average of 36-40 hours. This kind of work is obviously snow & customer dependent, so you may work reduced hours during the first and last few weeks of the season.
